Amanda Davis
Artist Statement:
I'm pretty sure there was never a time in my life when I didn't love drawing and painting. From a small
child, I loved anything to do with art. My favorite store purchase was a fresh box of crayons. My
favorite class in school was art. I always entered any local art contests in my small town. Many
sketchpads were filled with random drawings throughout my early years. Art is still what makes me
happy and fills my heart with joy many years later. My favorite mediums are acrylics and oils. Most
of my paintings have an abstract or contemporary vibe, but my creative process doesn't revolve
around one specific style or subject.. Everyone loves different styles, colors, and subjects. Some days, I love to use bright colors and other days I love to work in a neutral palette. You will find texture in many of paintings and I find it adds so much added interest. As an artist, I strive to make my work unique and worthy of appreciation..
