Artist Bio: From my first 64-count box of Crayons (with the sharpener in the back!), to my current full sized painting studio in Anderson, South Carolina, my artistic path has walked me through a whole atlas of artistic avenues in life.
Building stained glass windows in German led to to running my own graphic design studio, which meandered to building stage sets for TV and Theater, writing and publishing 5 books, raising three marvelous daughters, Painting over 1000 oil paintings of Sheep and their quirky view of humanity,, and over 2500 oil and watercolor paintings of landscapes, abstracts, and more, while teaching myself any and all things creative and artistic that allow me to be a full-time artist for life.
After quite some success nationally and internationally with my “Sheep Incognito” series of whimsical sheep paintings, this new endeavor of meshing deep and meaningful expression with textures, color, and fiber elements you see here has emerged.
Creating striking visuals has become another passion of mine - and it is with these new sculpted, painted, and assembled visual expressions and their captions and intentions that I endeavor touch the soul and heart of the viewer,.
Should I succeed in that, it is an artistic “mission accomplished” indeed.
