Daniella Willett-Raben
Artist Statement:
"I returned to college after many years in the music world and received my BFA in illustration in 2013 from the Savannah College of Art and Design. Previously I had attended a visual arts high school in Salamanca, Spain for about four and a half years. An influencing factor that has broadened my vision of art includes my many years dedicated to the study of percussion. I use this to my advantage by correlating rhythmic elements found in music with visual patterning, which I incorporate into my artwork.
My art is often fanciful, colorful, and joyful, striving to convey creativity, positive energy, and the vibrancy found in life. I prefer to work in acrylic but also employ a variety of media including oil and watercolor, among others. I am currently living in Atlanta, GA, and am working as a freelance artist and illustrator."
